Located in the area of “Kapoura”, somewhere between the villages of Kannavia and Agios Georgios Kafkalou and just 2 km away from the village of Vyzakia, is the “Kapoura” Excursion Site. It is a beautifully arranged site where one enjoys the peace and quiet of nature and the fresh air of pines and cypresses.   

At the excursion site you will have the chance to rest under the shade of the pine trees and to enjoy the cool environment and the comfort of the facilities it offers. In particular, at the Excursion Site there are wooden benches and tables, barbecues, stony fountains with drinking water, lavatories, as well as a beautiful playground with a slide, swings and a “tunnel”.

The creation of the Excursion Site was undertaken by the Department of Forests and it can accommodate approximately 100 people. In case of a fire, call 1407, 24/7, free of charge. What is also worth knowing is that the Forest Station is also located at the site.
